Yes, it’s a gig world… everyone has a side gig, and this is mine.

I have been blessed to have been born and raised in British Columbia – and I may be a little biased, but as far as I am concerned, it is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. I love the outdoors, and do all the cliched outdoor things – look for me on or next to a beautiful mountain lake, or relaxing in one of our MANY natural Hot Springs. I cheer for the Vancouver Canucks and say maybe next year (EVERY YEAR), every now and then I pretend to play golf and occasionally plummet down a mountainside in the winter.

Over the past couple of decades, I have done side projects to fill the time, earn some extra money and grow my skills. Because it wasn’t a requirement for survival, I admit some projects were just for fun, or to help some cause at the time – I did it simply because I could. But times are changing, and as I get older and look for more opportunities to slow down from the 9-5 hustle and spend more time exploring our BEAUTIFUL province (and country), I’m looking to get back into the freelance gig.

One other detail about me is that I spend next to no time on self-promotion. My mantra is that if I’m busy talking about myself, I’m not helping you. I’d much rather let word-of-mouth do the speaking for me. That being said, I will do SOME self-promotion – I mean I built this website.
